Solar Grain - An ongoing personal project

Each of these images is the result of a long process, taking six months to a year to capture. Created with cameras made from a couple of "wee tinnies" or beach rubbish, i'm looking into the sun's journey across the sky every day of the year, gradually sinking lower as the seasons progress. The gaps in the lines represent the cloudy days when the sun was hidden from view. This and the condition of the film by the collection date show the Scottish weather and its effect on these cameras, exposed to the elements.

More coming soon...
